Amenities Day Spa & Salon — Client SMS Appointment Notifications

This page documents how clients of Amenities Day Spa & Salon opt in to receive appointment-related SMS messages from us. It is the public verification reference for our A2P 10DLC messaging campaign.

What the Program Is

Amenities Day Spa & Salon sends transactional, appointment-related SMS messages to existing and prospective clients who have explicitly consented to receive them. Messages include appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notifications, cancellation notifications, and waitlist openings. We do not send marketing or promotional content through this program without separate, additional consent.

  • Message frequency: Varies based on appointment activity; typically 1–4 per appointment cycle
  • Cost: Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Amenities Day Spa & Salon does not charge for SMS messages.
  • Opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
  • Help: Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 559-224-2667.
  • Carriers: Compatible with all major U.S. wireless carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and others). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How Clients Opt In

We collect SMS consent through two methods. We do not enroll any client in SMS notifications unless they have actively opted in via one of the methods below.

Method 1 — Physical Intake Form (In-Person)

New and returning clients complete a paper intake form at our front desk in Fig Garden Village (5054 N Palm Ave, Fresno CA 93704). The intake form contains a dedicated, unchecked-by-default SMS consent checkbox separate from any other consent or signature on the form. The verbatim text on the checkbox reads:

Form text immediately below the checkbox: “Checking the box above is optional and is not required to receive services. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP.”

Only clients who actively check this box are added to our SMS appointment notification program. Their consent is recorded on the signed intake form, retained in the client’s file, and reflected in our scheduling software.

Method 2 — Phone Booking (Verbal)

When clients call our front desk at 559-224-2667 to book or reschedule, our front-desk team verbally requests SMS consent before adding any phone number to the SMS program. The verbatim script our team uses is:

“Would you like to receive appointment confirmations, reminders, and any rescheduling notifications by text at the number you just gave me? You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, and standard message rates may apply.”

Only clients who respond “yes” are enrolled. The front-desk team logs the verbal consent in the client’s record at the time of the call, including the date and the staff member who took the call. Clients who do not consent receive a phone call instead of any text reminder.

Online Booking

Our online booking provider does not currently capture SMS consent at the booking step. Clients who book exclusively online are not enrolled in SMS notifications until they separately opt in via Method 1 or Method 2 above.

Sample Messages You Will Receive

If you opt in, you will receive transactional appointment messages similar to the following:

  • “Hi Jane, this is Amenities Day Spa. We need to make a change to your upcoming appointment. Sarah from our team will be calling you shortly to help get you taken care of.”
  • “Hi Jane, Sarah from Amenities Day Spa tried to reach you about your appointment on April 5th. Please call us at 559-224-2667 or reply here to reschedule.”
  • “Hi Jane, great news! We were able to reschedule your appointment with Lisa on April 7th at 2:00 PM. As a thank you for your flexibility, you’ll receive 10% off your service.”
  • “Hi Jane, you’ve been added to our priority waitlist. We’ll contact you as soon as an earlier opening becomes available. Thank you for your patience!”
  • “Hi Jane, this is Amenities Day Spa confirming your appointment has been cancelled with no fee. We’d love to see you when you’re ready to rebook. Call us anytime at 559-224-2667.”

Opt Out and Help

You may opt out of SMS messages from Amenities Day Spa & Salon at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. Opt-out is processed automatically and immediately by our messaging platform. After opting out, you will receive one confirmation reply and no further messages.

Privacy & No Third-Party Sharing

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data collected through this program are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from any data sharing. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
