3. How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Amenities Day Spa & Salon by either of the methods below. We do not enroll you in SMS messaging unless you have explicitly opted in using one of these methods.
Method A — In-Person Intake Form
When you visit our spa as a new client (or update your information), you complete an intake form that includes the following SMS-consent checkbox. The text on the form reads, verbatim:
“☐ I consent to receive SMS appointment notifications (confirmations, reminders, rescheduling, cancellations) from Amenities Day Spa & Salon at the mobile number provided. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See amenitiesspa.com/privacy-policy and amenitiesspa.com/terms-and-conditions.”
Only clients who check this box are enrolled in our SMS appointment notification program.
Method B — Phone Booking
When you call our front desk at 559-224-2667 to book or reschedule an appointment and provide a mobile phone number, our team verbally requests SMS consent using the following script, verbatim:
“Would you like to receive appointment confirmations, reminders, and any rescheduling notifications by text at the number you just gave me? You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, and standard message rates may apply.”
Only clients who verbally confirm “yes” in response are enrolled in our SMS appointment notification program. Their consent is logged in our customer record at the time of the call.
Note on Online Booking
Online booking through our scheduling provider does not currently include SMS consent capture. Customers who book exclusively online are not enrolled in SMS notifications unless they subsequently opt in through Method A or Method B above.
